Henry house is a cozy, comfortable place ideal for a quick getaway to Stratford. We were there for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect place for a private celebration. Besides the amazing sunroom, several small touches in the place made our stay extremely comfortable. Above all, Brett is a great communicator and his instructions were always clear and instructive, enabling a very smooth stay.

It’s hard to find anything negative about Henry’s place. Henri (my dog) and I had a fantastic stay while visiting my aunt a couple of streets over. It was snowing which made the place look even more magical.

Staying at the Henry House was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, the space gave us full Shakespearean vibes quaint, charming, and perfectly suited for a magical night at the Stratford Festival. The decor truly made the experience feel special and memorable. Brett was an outstanding host communicative, friendly, and attentive to every detail, making check-in and the entire stay effortless. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our Stratford adventure and would highly recommend the Henry House to anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a touch of theatrical magic! Thanks again Brett, for a wonderful and short but very sweet stay! 🙂

Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend. It's very close to the theatres and the restaurants. The lounge area was comfortable, the bed is gorgeous, it's just the place to stay on a weekend away. Had all the little touches you'd  need when away from home ( tea, coffee, kettle, an iron and ironing board!). Very well thought out, and very welcoming.

Henry House

Beautiful suite in a great location . Very quiet area. One block from one incredible restaurants and shops. The Patterson Theatre is right around the corner as is the River. Great area for walking. Very comfortable bed. The suite has a cosy sitting area and ours also had a private patio with seating. Communication with Brett was top notch. Detailed and always prompt. Would definitely recommend a stay a Brett’s!

Henry’s House -Patio Suite was small but very cozy and comfortable. Brett was proactive about contacting us, and VERY responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The location was perfect for our needs: watching a couple of Stratford plays. Everything we needed was within walking distance; we didn’t to drive anywhere. One note to future guests: the light from the neighbor’s place shines into the window over the outside door (no way to block it), and the morning light also comes right in, which woke us up on the early side our first night. Easily remedied with a sleep mask, which we purchased at Shopper’s right up the street. We would stay again. Thanks for everything, Brett!

This rental was extremely charming and you couldnt ask for a better location. All of the wood trim and spectaluar bed display made the room so cozy and easy to settle in. The lake is viewable from the lounge window and the location of Henry House  is a very short walk to all of Stratford's best restaurants, cafes, theaters and stores. We booked during a cold day (-10C) and found the room to be very comfortable. The lake was snow covered and couldnt see much, but we would absolutely Henry House again in another season to see it all again and enjoy the room.

Excellent location. River/lake is a stone throw away (literally). Though the house is on a busy-ish road, but hey, it is 3 mins away from mainstreet downtown, and close to everything you would want to be close to. Inside it is peaceful, and kept in really good taste. You don't get access to a kitchen, but there is a dry kitchenette with kettle, coffeemaker, small fridge etc. Felt more like staying at a nice little hotel, than an airbnb. Checkout was particularly hassle free. The host is an active communicator, provides really good and clear instructions and also a little guide to Stratford. Very convenient.

It was such a comfy, convenient stay at the Henry House Patio Suite; I wished I could extend my overnight visit to Stratford. Brett was not only a helpful and responsive host - i.e. making sure in every way that things went seamlessly - but also shared some great local recommendations through "Henry's Guide to the Magic of Stratford". I'd most definitely consider staying here again to enjoy the sun room as well as the proximity to the theatres, parks, lake, and downtown core. Some of the best cafes and restaurants are well within walking distance. 100% worth it!
